Day Out in Autumn

27 Oct 2014

I decided that being half term for me as well as I know that today's earlier post isn't the most interesting I thought I would treat you to two today! I promised I would post my autumn day out look to go along with my night out look that is already published so here it is! I don't want a heavy base but I've been breaking out a lot recently so I wanted a light coverage foundation that is build able with reasonable coverage so I went for my Rimmel Match Perfection. Another perk to this foundation is that it doesn't cling to any dry patches so it's perfect when my skin is going through a dry spell which is very often in Autumn/Winter. For the rest my base I used 17 Stay Time Concealer under my eyes and Collection Lasting Perfection on any blemishes. I then moved on to eyes where I used just my Naked Basics Palette. I started by taking the skin colour W.O.S all over the lid and then taking the ash brown colour called Naked 2 in the outer half of my eye and then using the darker brown - faint- in the outer V to add a little bit more definition. I wanted something quite simple as the lips are definitely the focus of this look. I've been using Naked 2 from the Naked Basics palette  for my eyebrows as well as it's not as orange as some brow colours look and I've been loving using it. I then also use my Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Set in Blonde to set them in place. I finish the eyes off with a coat of Maybelline the Falsies on my top and bottom lashes.
Back to the face, I decided to do an all over bronze with my L'oreal Glam Bronze and the taking my new Make Up Revolution Palette in Hot Spice, I took the shimmery marble blush and sweep it along the top of my cheek bones lightly.
For lips, I planned on going for a bright red lip with 17 In fared but, after making a small purchase and falling slightly in love with it, I decided to wear my Collection Work The Colour Lip Butter in Perfect Plum. It's so moisturising as well as have great colour pay off. It's a colour I would normally shy away from but I've been loving it recently and  think it's a great autumnal lip colour!

And that's everything! I hope you liked this look. What do you switch up with your make up in Autumn?
Hope you're doing great,
