Another Haul.

20 Apr 2014

On my last haul, I said I didn't have time to spend money for the next few months but when my Grandma decided to treat me to a bit of money this Easter, I couldn't help but nip in to Boots and Superdrug for a few bits. I only bought three things but I thought you'd still be interested!

Soap & Glory "No Clogs Allowed" Deep Pore Detox Mask: This is something I've been eyeing up for a while as I've been having a real problem with my pores and blackheads and I've heard some good things about this mask. I've never tried Soap & Glory skin care before so this is a first and I've actually already tried this mask as I was so eager; I will save most of my comments for an upcoming post but I can tell you that this is looking like a firm favourite of mine. I'm hoping it does work well because it isn't the cheapest and one of the most expensive skincare products I've bought even when it was on offer for just more than £7.

Revlon Photo Ready Cream Blush "Coral Reef": This was a release from, I think, summer last year and I loved them then but for me, it was something that scared from looking at the colour and so thought I'd wait for some other colours as well as find a way to apply it as I think using my fingers is a recipe for disaster. But, in my last haul, I bought the elf stipple blush so I could use some cream blushes and the first one I could think of was this one. I did look at the max factor one but it looked as you got more for your money by buyng the Revlon one. They also had other colours now including a nice pink but I thought I'd step outside my comfort zone and try this one first and so far so good!

Maybelline Fit Me Concealer: The Collection Concealer is my obvious choice of concealer when needing a new one but for some reason I fancied a change and I was immediately drawn to this one by Maybelline. I really like the packaging- I don't know why maybe because I know the writing won't rub off like the Collection one! When selecting my shade, I bought shade 15 as for some reason 10 was darker that 15 which was odd and I couldn't understand why. When getting this home, I found it is a little darker than my collection concealer but I think this would be perfect for blemishes and imperfections. I'll let you know how I get on!

Paper Aeroplanes by Dawn O'Porter: This was a book I've been eyeing up for a while after seeing it in a BooksandQuills video(I can't remember who) and loving the concept and I thought this would be a nice break from revision. I'll do a review of this once I've finished it!
So that's it! It's only small but I'm all spent up now! What are some of your favourite releases from the drugstore recently?
Hope you're doing great and HAPPY EASTER!

  1. The cream blush is a gorgeous colour! I use Clean and Clear's blackhead clearing daily scrub, it's really good. I don't use it every day or all over my face, just where I need it but it really works and it's super affordable!
