Weekend Special #3: Currently Loving #4

8 Feb 2014

One thing on the feedback I got on my survey so far is my favourites and book posts. I feel I'm doing OK with the book posts and I'm working on he favourite posts starting with now! My favourites still won't be monthly as I always seem quite forced if I have to have favourites by a certain time but, coincidentally, my favourites tie in with the end of January so here is what I've been currently loving!

Marc Jacobs 'Daisy': This was a present I got for Christmas along with the shower gel and perfume and I've been loving it ever since. It's such a perfect smell and it's such a fresh smell. I started wearing this everyday but the price I paid I don't think I could afford to do that! Either way I still love it and will be using it sparingly but still as often as possible!

Collection Longer Lash Mascara: This (obviously) is a lengthening mascara and it works wonders! I didn't think this would actually be that good because of how cheap it is and I also thought it felt like a free mascara you get in a magazine but I take that back because it's great!

Garnier Moisture Match Moisturiser For Dry Skin: I've been using this for a while now; I started using it as an everyday moisturiser but recently I've been using it as a make-up base which has been working great as it hides almost all of my dry patches.  It has quite a thick consistency but after about 10 minutes, it's ready to have me put foundation over the top. I wouldn't definitely not recommend it to anyone with less than dry/very dry skin as it would be heavy and greasy on the skin but, for me, I love it!

Revlon Lip Butter #001 'Pink Truffle':  I love my brown toned nudes and so of course I would love this. I've got to say that I do have a love/ hate relationship with this product. You see, I'm not a glossy kind of person and I do find this very glossy. It also being nearly £8, I think I personally think is ridiculous when you get such little product. But saying that, I always find myself wearing this and putting it into my handbag when I'm off out.

Insurgent by Veronica Roth: This is the second book in my Divergent series and I loved it just as much as the first one! I'm currently, and almost finished, the last book in the series so I want to try and save all opinions for my full review that I'm planning (Let me know if you'd like to see that!) but I thought I'd still include it to tell you to please go and read this! If you're a fan of the Hunger Games, you'll love this!

So that's all my current favourites at the moment! What have you been loving lately? Or have you tried any of the products I've mentioned?
Hope you're doing great,

    1. I'd definitely recommend trying it if you find your foundation and make up clings to dry skin. I apply this 10 minute before foundation and it makes a massive difference!
