Autumn Lips & Tips.

6 Oct 2014

It's been a while since I've posted some nail varnish picks on my blog so I thought it was about time I did seeing is it's now autumn, I thought it was the perfect opportunity to show you the colours I'll be wearing this autumn with my favourite autumn lip sticks thrown in! The colour I was most excited to wear this Autumn is the Barry M Gelly Shine in Watermelon which I mentioned in my favourites and I think it's the perfect deep turquoise for this time of year. Another Barry M pick is the Barry M Matte in Red Wine. I included this in my Autumn series last year but I never actually ever wore it but I think I'll definitely be grabbing towards it this year. A nail varnish that I really need to replace and stop mentioning is the Revlon Top Speed in Forbidden; it's my go to red which I wear all year round but it's a great colour especially for autumn. My last two are two Models Own picks; starting with the gold shade in Copper Pot(which is one I can say I will be wearing on Christmas day!). I'm not ne to usually go for shimmery nail varnishes and I prefer just a block colour but this is  beautiful shade. Even in Autumn you need a nude nail varnish and I love the Models Own in the shade Nude Beige; a great brown toned nude for Autumn!
Moving straight on to my lip picks; they all are colours I've mentioned on my blog numerous times so they'll probably be no surprise to you but I thought I would share them with you anyway! Let's start with the scariest colour which is 17 Rich; a colour that I have to be feeling very brave to wear but if I'm not feeling brave I can just apply it with my finger to give a small pop of colour. This, to me, is a perfect Autumnal, Vampy colour. Taking it down a notch is another one from 17 in Infared. If I'm wanting a classic red lip, this is the one I always turn to. Another red option is Avon Rouge. I'm not too sure if they still sell this and I only have a sample size but I love this lipstick because it's not a opaque as the other red's mentioned which means I don't have to be feeling too brave to wear it on an every day basis. Finally, one that will come to no shock is my Kate Moss #19 Lipstick. I haven't worn this as much this year as last but I know I'll really get back into wearing it this Autumn as I start getting back into more mature nudes.

So that's all for this post but I'd love to know what you want to see next from my Autumn posts; Some Autumn inspired DIYs, an Autumn Day make up look, some recipes or maybe some outfit options or even an Autumn playlist?let me know!
I'd also love to know what colours do you like wearing on your lips and tips in Autumn!

Hope you're doing great,
