The Minimal Make Up

17 Apr 2014

Also known as the "No Make Up" make up look, I'd say this look is perfect for just nipping to the shops or for a school that's fairly strict on the rules concerning make up. So here it is!

I firstly did a quick moisturiser using my Simple moisturiser as it the BB cream gives some slight moisture so it doesn't need to be a heavy moisturiser like my usual choice. I apply my Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream using a small sponge that you can get from any where really cheap. This is great if you want a quick application of foundation and not so much coverage which is perfect for this. I then apply my usual Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer which I apply in a sort of triangle shape under my eyes to create a more natural highlight along with applying on anywhere that needs a little extra coverage. Then it's another usual which is my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder which is lasting for ages! I use my Real Techniques Duo Fibre Face Brush as I only needed a slight dusting as the BB cream didn't cause me much shine.
For my eyes I went as minimal as possible using my Soap and Gory Lid shadow from the Daily Double to cancel out any redness or veins on my eyes; I did a quick fill in of my eyebrows with a matte brown eye shadow and a coat or two of the Collection Longer Lash Mascara on either eye.
For me, there's no need to contour or bronze because I think it would be a little too obvious so I use the MUA blush in Lolly on my cheeks to give a little flush of colour.
I then just used my Maybelline Baby Lips in "Hydrate" but any clear gloss or nude lip colour would be perfect!
So that's it! I hope you enjoyed this post! I you'd like any full review posts of any of the products mentioned in this post feel free to let me know!
